ASTM F2199 – 18 This test method covers the determination of the change in linear dimensions of resilient floor tile/plank products after exposure to heat and reconditioning to ambient temperature.
This test method allows one to also measure curling that can occur after a specimen has been exposed to heat and reconditioned back to ambient temperature.
The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
Resistance to Fire: NFPA Class B
WPC - Wood Plastic/ polymer Composite.
WPC is a composite material made of thermoplastics, calcium carbonate and wood flour. Extruded as a core material, it is waterproof, rigid and dimensionally stable, and can go over most subfloors without much preparation. The rigid core hides subfloor imperfections. In addition, the rigid core allows for longer and wider formats. With WPC, it is not necessary to worry about the preparation LVT would require for use over cracks and divots in concrete or wooden subfloors.
The vinyl wear layer of WPC provides cushion and comfort and also absorbs the impact sound to make it a quiet floor. WPC is also suitable for large open areas (basements and Main Street commercial areas) because it doesn’t need expansion moldings.
Ellis Luxury SPC Vinyl Flooring carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty on Residential Wear – Limited Lifetime Structural Warrant -10 Year Limited Commercial Warranty. The warranty is not transferable and extends only to the original purchaser. This limited warranty applies only where the affected area is visible and covers an area greater than one square inch. The flooring must be installed in accordance with Ellis’s recommended installation instructions. This limited warranty shall not apply to damage arising from any of the following:
• Accidents, abuse or misuse - Exposure to extreme heat - Scratch, impact, or cutting - Improper installation Improper care and maintenance - Water damage resulting from improper installation or flooding caused by natural disaster, plumbing failures, etc. - Damage due to failure to use appropriate chair pads under caster desk chairs (Use only seamless plastic caster wheels to help prevent scratches) Damage resulting from subfloor conditions
