Bamstar's Premier6 Engineered Bamboo strip flooring is an extremely flexible flooring in that it can be installed both above and below Grade. It is available in the normal Tongue and Groove construction or in the patented Click-Lock system, allowing the flooring to "float". BamStar Engineered Bamboo Flooring can be installed using the traditional nailing or gluing methods or by the free-floating click system. Due to the nature of the mixed media construction there is less shrinkage and swelling allowing use in high humidity areas.

Bamstar Engineered Bamboo Flooring is offered in a 2-Ply construction of Solid 1/8" (4mm) Bamboo Top Layer laminated onto a Multiply Birch Plywood or in a 3-Ply construction of Solid 1/8" (4mm) Bamboo Top Layer, Laminated onto crosswise laminated solid Spruce or Fir with a Poplar or Solid Bamboo Backer. Since BamStar Flooring is a product of nature, there will be slight variations in color.

All Bamstar Bamboo Flooring is made from our specially selected Premier6 Mao Zhu (Moso) Bamboo specie (Phyllostachys pubescens) - origin ex Zhejiang Province, China. All Bamstar Plywood conforms to

Bamstar Premier6 Flooring is laminated with Dynea adhesives and Treffert Aluminum Oxide Coatings and Anti-Scratch topcoats emitting extremely low VOC's - and is far below the requirements of the European Union E1 Standards (European Chamber Test Norms with an upper limit of 0.017 ppm or 0.13 mg/M3 formaldehyde) - which far exceed those of OSHA's maximum allowance of 0.75 ppm and lower than CARB 2(California Air Resources Board) Standards,and WHO (World Health Organization) standards.

• Using only German finishes (Treffert Aluminum Oxide with Anti-Scratch topcoat)

• Using Bamstar Premier6 bamboo that is between 5 1/2 and 7 years old - the most desirable age

BAMSTAR PREMIER6 ENGINEERED/FLOATING CLICK-LOCK BAMBOO FLOOR

 

This flooring is made for "floating". Construction is solid Bamboo Top layer, a middle core of Spruce/Fir cross-laminated for extra strength, and a Bottom layer of Poplar or Birch or with Solid Bamboo Top Layer laminated onto a Multiply Plywood Birch Plywood. Made under the same stringent controls as all other Bamstar flooring, this Patented Click-Lock construction has an extremely small Micro-bevel. Prefinished with Aluminum Oxide coating and Anti-Scratch Topcoat all UV cured and hardened. Since BamStar Flooring is a product of nature, there will be slight variations in color.
